Change is possible—even if it doesn't feel like it right now.
Change is possible.
You don't have to keep living with that constant sense of impending doom, like something is always about to go wrong—even when nothing is.
You don't have to feel so overwhelmed that you shut down or freeze.
Feeling like you're not in control—like your own mind has become your worst enemy—does not have to be your reality.
"I believe real change doesn't just start with feeling understood—
it starts with hope.
That hope pushes you to begin making changes."

About Me
Hi, I’m Eva, a licensed mental health counselor and founder of Rooted Behavioral Health & Wellness in Massachusetts. I work with adolescents, young adults, and adults who feel overwhelmed, on edge, or like they're struggling to manage their thoughts.
I have over 4 years of clinical experience supporting individuals navigating anxiety, trauma, and the emotional impact of sobriety and life transitions. I am originally from California, where I earned my Master’s in Counseling Psychology from California Baptist University.
My approach is both supportive and practical. I draw from evidence-based therapies like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) while also keeping sessions real and engaging—because sometimes a little humor can make hard things feel more manageable. Together, we'll take small steps, challenge old patterns, and move forward in ways that once felt impossible.
I believe therapy should feel like a space where you can be real, feel understood, and actually learn tools that make a difference in your everyday life.

Why I do this
What I needed was support—and the right tools.
I know what it's like to live with anxiety—not just in passing, but in a way that takes over your thoughts, your body, and your sense of control.
That's what I help people build in their own lives.
